Stern did study at the bauhaus, opened a pioneering photo studio ringl + pit and fled Nazi Germany in 1935, finally settling down in Argentinia.
Among Stern’s most significant accomplishments are her Dreams (Sueños), a series of photomontages that she contributed on a weekly basis to the column El psicoanálisis le ayudará (Psychoanalysis will help you) in the popular women’s magazine Idilio. Read more: MoMA
